1st May Penrith
Penrith Lions have been running the May Day celebrations in the town for a number of years. They obtained extra funding this year and are therefore looking to put on a more exciting event.
We set up a camp for the day and in the small arena in the church grounds, where we did in camp activities, Knight School and some fighting demonstrations.

27th - 29th May Skipton Castle Full Household Event
Again we journeyed back to the 15th Century during the Wars of the Roses.
There was fighting, archery, Blacksmithing, Whitesmithing, Goldsmithing, shoemaking, barber surgeon, sewing, weaving, embroidery and lots of food... This is one of our signature full household, Red Wyverns organised events www.skiptoncastle.co.uk/ |

This two-day Medieval event featured jousting displays, jesters, an archery tournament, living history encampments and a huge banquet.
Our men won a number of medals in the tounament fighting against Historic European Martial Artists from around the world (yes we are THAT good). We also figured out how many knights fit in a phone box, but that's another story. |
